Life and Journey of a CAMO Trailer

Life & Journey of a CAMO trailer:

CAMO USA:

  • Donated medical supplies and equipment are sorted and packed.
  • These supplies are then loaded onto the truck.
  • Once the truck is full: A volunteer drives the cargo to Florida where it is placed on a ship.
  • From Florida is sails to Puerto Cortes, where the container goes through customs.

CAMO HONDURAS:

  • Once through customs, the container is driven to Santa Rosa.
  • In Santa Rosa it is unloaded and the supplies are distributed to their place of need.

Last year we sent 6 trailers to Honduras filled with $1.3 million worth of donated medical supplies and equipment.

This past week one of those trailer arrived in Honduras. The boxes were unloaded and will be distributed to their areas of need. The journey for each of these trailers is long, but the precious cargo they hold have a great impact on the lives of those in need.

We are incredibly grateful for all of our in-kind donors and our volunteers who help to make this possible. Without this constant support we would not be able to provide the thousands of services that we do.

These supplies will help save and impact lives.
