CAMO’s mission statement states that its overall goal as a humanitarian aid organization is to improve the quality of life of people in Central America by strengthening health care systems and promoting sustainable community development.

This is why CAMO has both Programs and Projects. CAMO’s 16 Programs are set up to strengthen the health care systems in Honduras, while the Community Projects provide a means towards sustainable development within the community. Both of these together help to improve the quality of life for those living in Honduras and the surrounding areas.
To date, CAMO has completed 2.3 million dollars worth of capital projects as they relate to the mission statement. Each project is brought to CAMO out of a need and the completion of such provides a great impact on the community, therefore providing justification for the organization’s participation.
