Labor and Delivery (2010)
When the ER was expanded in 2007, the hospital began placing all laboring mothers in the ER with all other ailments. This drastically increased the rate of infection along with poor management of the mothers prenatally. Due to this, CAMO intervened and added on to the labor and delivery department to provide laboring mothers a sterile environment. These women now have a laboring area plus an examination room for checking laboring progress.
