Ongoing Projects
With each of these “ongoing” projects, CAMO has invested the majority of the funds to get them up and running; and continues to provide funding, maintenance, supplies, and guidance to every facility. These ongoing programs help provide continuous community development.
CAMO’s ongoing projects include:
- Trade School: Help supply the necessary equipment for carpentry, sewing, welding and cosmetology.
- Women’s Shelter: CAMO provided 90% of the funds towards completing the facility- $340,000, and is currently presiding over the board.
- Community Gymnasium: funded $100,000 towards the project and is the President of board.
- Daycare: CAMO provides wages for a teacher, necessary maintenance, medicine/vitamins, and food for the children. Repair of the entire structure costs approximately $12,000 per year.
- Cultural Center: CAMO constructed the Center and helps with the supplies for the music program.
