Waiting Room (2008)

Before CAMO, diagnostic services at the public health hospital were limited due to 30-year-old equipment in a section of the hospital with 75-year-old adobe walls. Mildew covered the interior and exterior walls, needing immediate repair. CAMO also analyzed flow from the new ER to surgery, to the lab. So working from the front of the hospital to the back, renovations to the hospital took place to include a training center, endoscopy , waiting areas, a new x-ray department and trauma room.

Previous to these improvements, patients waited outside in the streets to enter the facility. These renovations provided a waiting room inside the hospital for patients and family members. An endoscopy department was also built due to new research being done in gastric cancer to provide necessary areas for treatment. The radiology department was also established with functional x-ray equipment, a dark room, etc.
